Who wins from health and safety regulations?

Those in the legal proffession, thats who...

Think about it.

Have a trip or fall in a poor working condition, and you take them to court.

Even if contracted to no win no fee contracts with your legal aides, they will claim your compensation (or at best, a large proportion of your compensation).

The coalition can tackle this as much as possible, but court is still a LOT more stressful than the embarassment of having a trip or fall at work.

Now this nation has adopted a far-fetched suing culture, with more case law on this topic than an over loaded can of worms.

The solution? Government needs hand back individuals responsibilities in their own lives. Government seems to enjoy our individual freedoms too much.

So the Olympic 2012 merchandise is not going to be made in the representing nation.... if you didn't realise, it never is!

In two years time, as many of you are aware, (this damn social democracy, the apparent) Great Britain is hosting the Olympics, the most spectacular and unifying sporting event in the world.

This morning (12/11/2010), people were horrified to hear that merchandise is being made for the olympics overseas. I tried several times to phone up and get through, only I wasn't allowed to. Normally I'm angered at left wing media because they voice down my opinions, but Nick Ferrari (who writes for the Daily Express), and the extreme right media, and UKIP and the BNP today really did show their lack of appreciation for a global economy, and the benefits of capitalism.

Firstly, the very first chapter in Adam Smith's book, The Wealth of Nations, Smith outlines the divisions of labour, with the example of the pin maker. One worker wires the metal, another shapes it, another paints it and so on.

Milton Friedman took it one step further and gives us the example of how a pencil is made. For example, the wood for the tree is cut down in a forest in Borneo, for example, and the graphite is extracted in Chile, perhaps, with the rubber for the tip extracted in the Amazon rainforest Brazil. With all of these resources grouped together, the steps to make the pencil as merchandise has been made in Borneo, Chile and Brazil, and now to be shaped, and so would go to have that unique pencil shape made in a factory in Japan, because this machinery is not yet accessible in South America, and Japan has the best technology for this (perhaps hyperthetically speaking). Once it has been shaped, the pencil needs deocrating.

Somewhere else in the world, paints have been put together, each withh their own different production stages undertaken to create the final product. The paints are used to decorate the pencil with its own unique deisgn (for 2012, it would have the olympic logo, supplied by the designers in (this damn social democracy, the apparent) Great Britain).

Free trade encourages this to be done cheaply, and even adds to the unifying spirit of the olympics, as protectionist tarriffs ultimately lead to weaker international relations.

Clearly, now that I have outlined the division of labour, merchandise has never been created completely in a home nation of the olympics. Another thing to bear in mind, is that Britain alone doesn't have all the resources required to manufacture merchandise on a decent scale to meet consumers wishes.

If Britain wants a cheap and happy merchandise range for the olympics, introduce free trade. If Britain wants to contribute to the level its workforce wants to, then the government should introduce free markets.

But remember, olympic merchandise has never been entirely made in an olympic home nation, and never will do.

Where did this government play in a part in innovation and scietific breakthrough?

Did government ever ask Alexander Flemming, Albert Einstein, Florence Nightingale, Michael Faraday, Martin Luther King, Thomas Eddison and so on to make a better standard of living for the world?

NO!

Government has never played a part in the advancement in the stndard of living for anyone worldwide. Instead, they've slowed it down dramatically.

Only individualism and laissez faire capitalism has been there to stand up for those who want to get on with their lives and advance.

Government treats us like babies and immature children when it interferes in our lives, and undermines our abilities when issuing welfare and socilaised healthcare.

Its time to take our government back.

Before we become the ill treated victims of socialism.
